Unhappy Birthday Universal

Hello Universal,
What a century it's been!
You brought us Back To The Future,
Now that was
not a sin!

Your studios were unrivalled
In that old Hollywood scene,
Motion Pictures of such quality
Before you nowhere had been!

From the Music Corporation
Of America you found
A new home and investor;
As king they saw you crowned!

Hard times then fell upon you,
To the Japanese you turned;
Panasonic was ideal
As your light burned and burned.

Seagram next to buy you,
Vivendi closely followed,
MCA 'came UMG,
While NBC you swallowed!

Now you're owned by Comcast,
Worst company on the Earth!
What a terrible fate,
After such a glorious birth!

Now censorship, oppression
On your agenda has
A very high priority.
As we Irish say: “'Tis gas!”

So as your brand new logo
On silver screens appears:
“Unhappy Birthday Universal”
from all your VIGoV peers!
