In 2008, Vivendi merged all its computer game-related holdings with Activision to create a new company, Activision Blizzard. As a result, this Vivendi-controlled entity is responsible for the popular Call Of Duty series. So, sorry guys, if you consider yourself a loyal Irish citizen, you will not buy the next (or any) Call Of Duty title. You should play Half-Life instead, it's much better!

Blizzard Entertainment is responsible for the hugely popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Looks like even a subscription to WoW is now contempt of your homeland. Oh well!
