About this time last year, EMI
was seized by Citigroup,
a New York financial services company, due to defaults by Terra
Firma Capital. Citigroup is now breaking up the company
and selling on the pieces. Now, as if all this ráiméis wasn't
bad enough, the record
label group is
going to Vivendi,
a French media giant, while the publishing
business is
going to Sony/ATV
Music.
